For those who know me, know that i've been putting off this blog for a long time. Why? In all honesty, I didn't know where or even HOW to start, because disability is a topic that is close to my heart. I know that in society, most disabled people are treated like crap, the exceptions are those who have really gotten to know you.
They say 'Your disability doesn't define you!', but truthfully, for a disabled person? It partially does. Most, if not all people don't seem to understand that. I may not know what it's like to be an able-bodied person, but here's what I do know, without my disability i wouldn't have striven for life like I have, and always will. Having a disability is a war with society, and i am determind to demolish the stereotypes of society.
